I can’t define how I want to do this. I need to clear my head. The grey is darker, but dark is warmer. There’s little that you said. I’m getting confident in knowing that you’re mocking this. An ocean doesn’t mean that I can’t see inside your soul. You’re the badlands in my mind its time to let you know. I know. I’m sure you’ll go. You’ll follow me back home. My mind will stray sometimes. I have to break the lines. You said I caused a tear in your heart. That was no compliment. Your stupid poems - accusing poems - deny the words I’ve sent. Are you dedicated did you try to paint your neck? You are blurry all the time it’s time to let you know. I have to do this now for me and for what’s right. Next time I’ll be more careful of what leaves my mind.

#3 Porter Hall:
Every day it follows you home from your job where you can’t think alone. Slamming doors when the paper runs out. Blurry faces to tell you what life is about. We like to think that things are bad. When they’re really not that bad. We have clothes on our selfish backs. Shining lights on the things life lacks. So put a pin in your left pocket and tell her that, “I’ll follow you”. I told you it’s much better than what you’d think (never think) about forever. Try it once. Make a pin. Help you remember that I will never follow you. You see a person’s real insides when they deal with tangled Christmas lights. Unlit futures, they stress you out. Don’t change the light bulbs. Just don’t do it right now. There are people who fight each day. Think of the future and write your way.

There is a reason why I always have to hide the workings of my mind when they’re not right. Things with wings will come. They will rip through threads to lift you up and out. You have no choice. So, put a smile on. Pretend that nothing’s wrong. Put a smile on. It makes me ponder why emotions aren’t seen as valued entities ‘cause sad is not nice. You need to buy a mask or else you’ll be outcast. Too bad when we try we just relapse. And maybe if we’re dark in mind we’ll stay inside won’t blind our eyes from light if it’s too bright outside for us.

I don’t think about people all that much. I think about the world and how it could have began. I think about the world and how it’s going to end. I think that people think about people all too much. So take the time to think about exactly how you stand alone. I know you’ll feel some type of way. You can’t forget that you are only one thing – you. You’re not a compilation of others’ thoughts. I wish that happiness was only up to you. There’s too many people to be just one thing – you. So take the time to think about exactly how you stand alone. I know you’ll feel some type of way. So take the time to think about how other people stand alone. Don’t let their posture shape your way.

And so it goes, you’re close to me. But are you actually close to me? Do you care how I think? Our systems aren’t built the same. Do you know that it’s fine? It’s just another side of me. We can change our own minds so sympathize and don’t waste your time. You’re not better. We’re not better. Why do you spend your time making up countless lies about my life? You validate your mind that you are better and we are lesser, but we are you. It’s pretty sad that you need a book or something for you to see that you’re wrong, simply cold. I wouldn’t care but you’re close to me. You’re not better and we’re not lesser, but we are you.
